LemonSpark, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation that aims to inspire people who are experiencing a tough situation with short stories of people who have crossed over to the other side of a similar tough situation and are now living fulfilling lives.
About the Founder
In addition to being the Executive Director and Founder of LemonSpark, Barbara works as an attorney in the Madison office of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. she practices business and intellectual property litigation. From 2003-2005, she clerked for the Honorable Barbara B. Crabb in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin and worked on numerous litigation matters, including patent infringement, civil rights, employment and contract matters.
Barbara began her law career as a Skadden Fellow through the Skadden Fellowship Foundation, working on private health insurance issues from 2001 to 2003. Before law school, Barbara obtained a Master in Public Health degree from the University of Michigan. She taught Health Law at the University of Wisconsin Law School and has worked with various health and insurance organizations throughout the United States, England, Sweden and The Netherlands. Hence, she has particular expertise in health care litigation.
